Mathematics / Lurgashall Water Mill
 

This is a working water mill in daily use for grinding grain and producing the Museums' own flour.  The large scale mechanism is built chiefly of wood and iron and is a wonderful example of early engineering showing energy conversion, power transmission and gearing.
