Shelter Building
KS1 & 2
Unit 6A Shelters |
Sorry all of the courses
for 2008 have been booked. We hope to run these courses in 2009. An opportunity to explore the
extensive woodland using brushwood/thinnings to construct framework type
full size shelters. Afterwards a visit to the charcoal burners camp to
investigate the wood shelter there. The other reconstructed buildings
on the site can then be used to explain the progression of design from these
simple shelters to traditional oak framed buildings. |
